Terms & Conditions

Classy Frontiers is a trade mark and travel brand of Oriental Passage Ltd.

The Customer is the person or a group of persons requiring Classy Frontiers services for their travel arrangements.
The Delegate is the person in charge to communicate with Classy Frontiers for himself or on behalf of all participants to the travel itinerary.
The Travel Proposal is a suggested itinerary by Classy Frontiers which may become a sold product once confirmed and paid by The Customer partially or totally.

All travel proposals offered by Oriental Passage Ltd under Classy Frontiers Trade Mark and accepted by The Customer are subject to the following conditions:

1. Booking

Before Classy Frontiers can accept and process a booking, The Customer must confirm the final Proposal by written notice in the e-mail . The person who accept the Travel Proposal shall be deemed to act as delegate for all persons joining the itinerary, whether the delegate shall intend to travel or not. Therefore all participants agree to accept the Terms & Conditions specified in this agreement.
Upon confirmation of the Travel Proposal, Classy Frontiers will check the availability of all suppliers involved in the itinerary and will place the bookings on behalf of The Customers. Once confirmed all bookings The Customer shall proceed to the payment in the terms specified at paragraph 2.

2. Deposit Payment

At the time of asking for your holiday booking to be confirmed, we will ask for a deposit of 50% of the total price. If the deposit is not received within 7 calendar days, your booking would be automatically cancelled and cancellation charges will become payable in accordance with paragraph 5 below. This deposit is your only commitment to Classy Frontiers until 45 days prior to departure.
Classy Frontiers will send a deposit payment confirmation upon receipt of the deposit.
For travel arrangements asked with a shorter notice than 45 days, Classy Frontiers will ask for the full amount payment in advance.

3. Payment of Balance

The Customer accept to pay the final balance before air tickets (if any) are being issued, but in any case latest 45 days five days before departure or upon our payment request. If The Customer will not pay within 7 calendar days, Classy Frontiers reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled, in which case the full deposit is forfeit.
Confirmation of all travel details will be sent to The Customer as they become available.
A number of vouchers for all activities chosen and confirmed will be sent to The Customer by express courier prior its departure.
Vouchers must be carried by the customer during the itinerary and must be shown to the service supplier.

All payments are required to be submitted by bank transfer to the following recipient:

4. Booking Alterations

If The Customer decides to alter any details after confirmation of the Travel Proposal suggested, Classy Frontiers has the right to charge any fees levied by airlines or other suppliers. In special cases (e.g. too short notice or change request impossible to confirm) your change request may be rejected by Classy Frontiers. The denial to change your itinerary would be communicated to The Customer.

5. Booking Cancellations

If the delegate or any of the participants wish to cancel the confirmed itinerary (or any part of it), the delegate must provide a written notification by e-mail. To compensate Classy Frontiers for the expenses of processing the booking, the customer will be charged by a cancellation fees as set out below.
The cancellation charges might depend on the noticed time provided by the customer.
Please see below table for the period before departure within which cancellation notice is required and amount of cancellation fee:
- 60 days or more = 5% cancellation fee
- 60 to 31 days = 50% cancellation fee
- 30 or less than 24 hrs = 100% cancellation fee

Classy Frontiers reserves the right to amend above cancellation fees, if suppliers mandate higher cancellation fees on us. In such a case, you will be notified by Classy Frontiers about applicable cancellation fees.

6. Complaints

Shall The Customer have any complaints, he will urgently discuss it at the time with the airline, hotel or any other service provider. If the complaint cannot be resolved locally, it must be notified to Classy Frontiers immediately by telephone or by e-mail. In any case a complaint letter should be send to Classy Frontiers within 7 days of return date, providing travel details, nature and matter of the complaint. No action can be taken after this period.

7. Insurance

Travel and health insurance including cancellation coverage is essential for your own protection. You should be suitably insured before booking at your own discretion and risk.

8. Changes and cancellation

Occasionally it may be necessary to amend the arrangements The customer have selected and Classy Frontiers reserve the right to do so at any time for travellers' safety or for causes not depending on Classy Frontiers (e.g. sudden schedule change by the airlines, hotel's management decisions, last minute supplier's unavailability, weather conditions, social or political problems of the destination country...)
Most of these changes can be minor, but where they become substantial Classy Frontiers will inform The Customer as soon as the change comes necessary.
Classy Frontiers will support The Customer trying to arrange and modify the schedule in the most convenient way with the lowest loss possible in terms of time, enjoyment and money.
Shall the customer choose to change the itinerary after embarking on a travel, Classy Frontiers can not absorb any costs or provide any refund.

9. Force Majeure

Compensation payments will not be provided where performance of Classy Frontiers' contract with The Customer is prevented by risk of war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, technical problems with transport, closure or congestion of airports or ports, cancellations or changes of schedules by scheduled airlines and similar events beyond Classy Frontiers' control.

10. Trip Cancellation by Classy Frontiers

Classy Frontiers will reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel your tour. In this event, Classy Frontiers will inform you as soon as possible and you will be offered the choice of an alternative tour of at least comparable standard if available, or a refund of all monies paid.
Classy Frontiers reserves the right to terminate without further notice the agreed arrangements of any client who refuses to comply with the instructions or orders of its staff or other responsible person, whose behaviour in their opinions is likely to cause distress, damage, danger or annoyance to staff, to any third party or property.

11. Liability

Classy Frontiers have taken all reasonable steps to ensure that proper arrangements have been made for the tour offered, choosing the best suppliers and the best activities for the enjoyment of the holiday period, accepting any responsibility for the quality of the tour as confirmed by The Customer.
Classy Frontiers is not providing any direct activities with its own staff, but rather a consulting, management and supervision service of all suppliers involved to design the bespoken travel.
Any damage for the acts or omissions of its agents, suppliers and subcontractors must be notified immediately to Classy Frontiers. Illness, injury or death as a result of any negligence by Classy Frontiers' agents, suppliers or their employers, Classy Frontiers cannot accept any responsibility.
By accepting a travel proposal The Customer guarantees that all participants are able to join the chosen activities, except if differently specified in advance.

12. Schedule Airlines

The responsibility of the airlines in connection with the tour is limited to the carriage of passengers in accordance with the conditions of carriage of participating airlines by International Conventions. Airlines reserve the right to amend timings and dates of departure as outlined under Chapter 8.

13. Tour Description

Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of descriptions and information. However, Classy Frontiers is not always able to control all components of the tour arrangements and it is possible that an advertised facility may be withdrawn or changed, due to weather conditions, lack of demand or for maintenance, renovations, etc. Classy Frontiers will advise you, if they become aware of a major change.

14. Price Guarantee and Details

The price of your tour shown on your confirmation invoice is fully guaranteed and will not be subject to any surcharges other than any Government imposed increase in taxes. This guarantee is subject to the conditions of payment being adhered to.
The Travel Proposal price is always quoted as a package for all participating persons and for all activities, services and meals described on the travel proposal only.
Once a booking has been confirmed, prices will not change, unless The Customer makes a change to the arrangements and require it by e-mail.

15. Accommodation & Food

The comfort, standard and location of suggested hotels respect a minimum of 4 stars category. In remote areas The Customer accepts to stay in hotels available, even if they are not up to expected standards. Criteria for choosing a certain hotel are convenience of location, individuality and quality of service, not necessarily hotel ratings.
In case The Customer needs any special diet, Classy Frontiers must be informed in advance.
Some guided tours may include lunch or dinner; details are included in the Travel Proposal. The restaurants are chosen carefully. Usually, meals (except breakfast) are not included in our itineraries (unless stated differently).
Expenses of personal nature like lunch and dinner, telephone calls, bar bills, laundries, shopping or any of other nature not mentioned above are to be paid by the customer.

16. Visa

Classy Frontiers is available to provide The Customers with information about visa requirements. Unless otherwise stated, we can not accept any responsibility or liability for correct and up to date information.
In certain cases, Classy Frontiers can provide The Customer with Visa service, in which case we ask you to co-operate with us to obtain visa in time. We must however waive any claims for incorrect visas as issued by Authorities or Agencies.

17. Legal terms

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the Hong Kong Laws and parties agree to submit any legal action to the Jurisdiction of Hong Kong Court at all times.
It is understood that The Customer (or the Delegate) accept these terms and conditions for himself and for all participants to the travel.
