Dynamic couple in Koh Samui
The spirit of the journey
A balanced mix of relax, romantic moments and adventure for a holiday to remember. Koh Samui - with its pampering spas, crystal clear sea, romantic boutique accommodation, top class restaurants and hidden bays - will provide the best of comforts, relax and romance for two. Everything here is thought for the couple: a fantastic accommodation with breathtaking views and a selection of recommended activities for exciting days out on the sea to balance romance and discovery nicely.
In 1971 two backpackers stumbled upon Koh Samui, a paradise-like island - home mainly to coconut farmers and fishermen - fringed by white-sand beaches with palms blowing in the wind and clear green seas sparkling in the sunlight. Much has changed since then: Koh Samui has become one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in Thailand, and the spa capital of the region. But something has remained as it was: the blessed atmosphere of tropical living typical of the "coconut island". Nowadays Koh Samui offers tourist countless choices both in terms of entertainment and relax: you can spend the night sipping on tropical cocktails in a stylish bar and be on a Robinson Crusoe-like beach the day after; you get on a boat and do some extraordinary snorkelling in neighbouring Koh Tao or get to some serious beach party in Koh Phangan; or you can treat yourself to some 5 star relax in one of the fantastic health retreats of the island. At your arrival at Koh Samui our chauffeur will take you to your hotel of choice for a truly romantic week with your loved one, enjoying breathtaking sceneries over the sea.
Located on a cliff overlooking Lamai Bay, The Kala is the kind of place that goes beyond the standard luxury hotel and dream holiday. Secluded, but at the same time at a very short ride away from the hustle and bustle of Chaweng; surrounded by nature and right on the sea, the Kala is the perfect destination for a romantic break as well as for a longer permanence on the coconut's island.
Check in your deluxe room or duplex pool villa, both with breath taking views over the ocean and complemented by the personalized kind of service that will make you wish to come back here again and again.
Choose between staying in a Deluxe Room or a Duplex Pool Villa, both enjoying stunning views over the Gulf of Siam. The deluxe rooms are tastefully decorated with antique, elegant furnishings and provide an ideal environment to relax and re-embrace peace, harmony and pleasure. The Duplex Pool Villa is split on two storeys and enjoys a natural beautiful, private and exclusive setting. The first level offers a private pool overlooking the sea with a private day bed that allows guest to enjoy spa treatments in their own private villa. The second level is the bedroom with a king sized bed, a spacious bathroom with terrazzo bathtub completed with amenities made from natural coconut.
Viva II is a spacious sloop with lifting keel and water ballast system which gives access into shallow waters or even allows beach landings. Easy handling and perfect equipment make this little sailing yacht an excellent option should you want to learn a bit of sailing while cruising around the islands.
Viva 2 and her experienced skipper have been cruising the islands around Samui for more than 10 years - that's why we selected them to lead you in this fantastic cruise experience. Your journey will include visits to exotic waterfalls, viewpoints, remote bays while giving you a great sailing experience. 1 day sailing is the best opportunity to see the natural wonders of Koh Phangan.
Due to its mountainous structure, the island is still quite undeveloped in the inland. The natural park of Haad Sadet (former residence of the Royal Family) is a must explore area, with lot of attractions, such as waterfalls and a rich wildlife.
The cruise is inclusive of: pick up from your hotel and return, lunch, water/soft drinks, dinghy or kayak, snorkel equipment, safety equipment, skipper, insurance.
Not inclusive: National Park Fees if any, Breakfast & Dinner, Alcoholic drinks.
Ang Thong Marine National Park lies 31 km north-west of Koh Samui and includes 40 small islands and 84 sq km marine environment of untouched beauty. All islands are uninhabited and undeveloped except for one, Koh Paluay, where the "sea- gypsies" live. The islands range in size, from mere rocks in the deep blue sea to little paradise islands with white beaches and coconut trees. The water is clean, calm and inviting, creating the perfect conditions to explore the park's hidden treasures. Board a VIP speedboat and sail to this beautiful Marine Park. Your first stop, the three Koh Waos, is perfect for snorkelling thanks to the shallow, sheltered bay nestled in between these 3 islands. Enjoy the beach at Talay Nai, then climb through dense rainforest and narrow ravines to the spectacular viewpoint overlooking the surrounding islands at Wua Ta Lap. A short stroll downhill will take you to the famous Emerald Lake, also known as the Blue Lagoon from the movie "the Beach". And finally, diverting from normal tour routes, our VIP tour will go to Koh Paluay's sea gypsy village for a delicious Thai lunch in a restaurant at the fisherman's village. After that, the speedboat will take you to the south of the island for an hour and a half of amazing kayaking along breathtaking cliffs and uninhabited islands with perfect beaches. What a day!
This will be a day full of wonders and adventure - grab your camera and get ready for an exciting jungle safari. Our itinerary will take you to see the Grandfather & Grandmother Rocks - huge rocks that have been shaped over millions of years by wind and water to resemble human reproductive organs. Sip on fresh, sweet coconuts that have been harvested by monkeys before stopping by Wat Khunaram to see Samui's most sacred relic, the mummified Luong Por Daeng, a highly respected and beloved monk who was renown for his meditation practice. From Wat Khunaram proceed to explore the jungle, some part of which can be accessed only by elephants. Elephant-trek on the way to the waterfall, enjoying the scenery and the local wildlife along the way. Dip into the cool waters of Namuang Waterfalls - Namuang II in particular is Koh Samui's most beautiful, with stunning rock formations and verdant surroundings bathed in a brilliant natural light. Relaxed and refreshed, board a 4x4 vehicle to reach the breathtaking viewpoint at Yaod Khao which is located on the highest point of Samui at 650 meters above sea level. After a delicious Thai meal wander through the Magical Garden, located in the hills of Samui and reachable only through the jungle, rivers and mountains by a 4X4 off road vehicles. The Garden was built in 1976 by a local fruit farmer, Nim Thongsuk and is full of statues of animals, gods and demons. Before heading back to your hotel, visit the renown Big Buddha Temple, home to the 12 meter tall golden image of Buddha. A fantastic day discovering Samui!
