Colonial Style in Koh Samui
A relaxing and exciting week designed with the family in mind: a 5 stars family-friendly hotel located in a secluded spot of Chaweng, right on the beach and only a few minutes away from the center. Plenty of in-hotel activites for kids and exclusive facilities for adults. And a selection of activities to entertain, amaze and leave beautiful memories to the whole family. All of this against the memorable backdrop of Koh Samui, with its calm, azure waters, top class restaurant and pampering spas...just relax, we'll take care of the rest!
In 1971 two backpackers stumbled upon Koh Samui, a paradise-like island - home to mainly coconut farmers and fishermen - fringed by white-sand beaches with palms blowing in the wind and clear green seas sparkling in the sunlight. Much has changed since then: Koh Samui has become one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in Thailand, and the spa capital of the region. But something has remained as it was: the blessed atmosphere of tropical living typical of the "coconut island". Nowadays Koh Samui offers tourist countless choices both in terms of entertainment and relax: you can spend the night sipping on tropical cocktails in a stylish bar and be on a Robinson Crusoe-like beach the day after; you get on a boat and do some extraordinary snorkelling in neighbouring Koh Tao or get to some serious beach party in Koh Phangan; or you can treat yourself to some 5 star relax in one of the fantastic health retreats of the island. At your arrival at Koh Samui our chauffeur will take you to our favourite and secluded 5 star property for a truly romantic week with your loved one: the Silavadee, a realm of peace, breathtaking sceneries and luxurious pampering.
At your arrival at Samui a private minivan will be waiting to take your family to our preferred family-friendly hotel on the island, the Centara Grand Beach Resort Samui. Superbly located along Chaweng, Koh Samui's most famous beach, Centara Grand Beach Resort Samui offers first class Thai hospitality in a private and secluded setting, only few minutes away from the centre. Enjoy the exceptional facilities of this award winning deluxe resort which combines tranquil ambiance and sheer beauty with a wide choice of water sports and activities for kids. As parents, you will of course understand, if the kids are enjoying their holiday you can too! Centara Grand Beach Resort offers your little darlings daily activities at the Camp Safari, for kids aged 4 through 9, and at the E-Zone with the best and the latest in entertainment for teen's aged 10 to 17. Check-in for 7 nights in a Deluxe Pool Suite, and get the best in terms of comfort and fun for the whole family!
The Deluxe Pool Suite can accommodate very comfortably 2 adults and 2 children. It offers 60 sqm. of air conditioned living space together with a private courtyard complete with plunge pool, lounging and dining areas. Other in-room facilities include: hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities, safe deposit box, IDD telephone, satellite flat screen TV, in-house movies, music channels.
Ang Thong Marine National Park lies 31 km north-west of Koh Samui and includes 40 small islands and 84 sq km marine environment of untouched beauty. All islands are uninhabited and undeveloped except for one, Koh Paluay, where the "sea- gypsies" live. The islands range in size, from mere rocks in the deep blue sea to little paradise islands with white beaches and coconut trees. The water is clean, calm and inviting, creating the perfect conditions to explore the park's hidden treasures. Board a VIP speedboat and sail to this beautiful Marine Park. Your first stop, the three Koh Waos, is perfect for snorkelling thanks to the shallow, sheltered bay nestled in between these 3 islands. Enjoy the beach at Talay Nai, then climb through dense rainforest and narrow ravines to the spectacular viewpoint overlooking the surrounding islands at Wua Ta Lap. A short stroll downhill will take you to the famous Emerald Lake, also known as the Blue Lagoon from the movie "the Beach". And finally, diverting from normal tour routes, our VIP tour will go to Koh Paluay's sea gypsy village for a delicious Thai lunch in a restaurant at the fisherman's village. After that, the speedboat will take you to the south of the island for an hour and a half of amazing kayaking along breathtaking cliffs and uninhabited islands with perfect beaches. What a day!
This will be a day full of wonders and adventure - grab your camera and get ready for an exciting jungle safari. Our itinerary will take you to see the Grandfather & Grandmother Rocks - huge rocks that have been shaped over millions of years by wind and water to resemble human reproductive organs. Sip on fresh, sweet coconuts that have been harvested by monkeys before stopping by Wat Khunaram to see Samui's most sacred relic, the mummified Luong Por Daeng, a highly respected and beloved monk who was renown for his meditation practice. From Wat Khunaram proceed to explore the jungle, some part of which can be accessed only by elephants. Elephant-trek on the way to the waterfall, enjoying the scenery and the local wildlife along the way. Dip into the cool waters of Namuang Waterfalls - Namuang II in particular is Koh Samui's most beautiful, with stunning rock formations and verdant surroundings bathed in a brilliant natural light. Relaxed and refreshed, board a 4x4 vehicle to reach the breathtaking viewpoint at Yaod Khao which is located on the highest point of Samui at 650 meters above sea level. After a delicious Thai meal wander through the Magical Garden, located in the hills of Samui and reachable only through the jungle, rivers and mountains by a 4X4 off road vehicles. The Garden was built in 1976 by a local fruit farmer, Nim Thongsuk and is full of statues of animals, gods and demons. Before heading back to your hotel, visit the renown Big Buddha Temple, home to the 12 meter tall golden image of Buddha. A fantastic day for the whole family!
Koh Phangan is the largest of Samui's neighbouring islands - a paradise of white sand beaches and secluded bays.
Discover Koh Phangan's lush natural scenery by a sailing cruise aboard a traditional Burmese junk boat, equipped with modern navigation and communication devices, as well as medical first aid equipment. Snorkel in the warm water of Koh Ma or try your luck fishing - the boat is fully equipped for that too!
Anchor at Thong Nai Pan bay and explore the scenic double bays of Thong Nai Pan Noi and Thong Nai Pan Yai, heavenly sandy bays surrounded by mountains covered in rich tropical rainforest. Visit the waterfalls at Than Sadet before heading back to Koh Samui at a leisure pace, sipping tea on the deck and admiring the great views of Koh Phangan's Haad Rinn beach, famous for its full moon party. This'll be un unforgettable cruise - don't miss it!
